KalispellMarijuana.clinic is an online directory and telehealth scheduling platform connecting Kalispell residents with Montana-licensed physicians for medical marijuana certifications.
We are not a medical practice, dispensary, or pharmacy. We connect patients with qualified Montana-licensed physicians and guide them through Montana's two-step medical marijuana certification and TAP portal application process — from Downtown Kalispell and the Flathead Valley to Whitefish, Somers, and every Flathead County neighborhood.
Every physician on our platform holds a valid Montana medical license (MD or DO) — the only practitioners authorized to complete the Physician Statement required for Montana's medical marijuana cardholder application under the DOR's program.
All telehealth appointments are conducted on HIPAA-compliant platforms. Kalispell patients' health information is handled with complete confidentiality throughout the process.
Every certification follows Montana DOR requirements. The state application fee is paid directly to DOR through Montana's TAP portal — not to this platform. Kalispell patients pay only the clinic consultation fee.
Montana's Medical Marijuana Program, administered by the Cannabis Control Division of the Montana Department of Revenue (DOR), has two steps. A Kalispell patient books a real-time video visit with a Montana-licensed physician (MD or DO) through this platform — nurse practitioners are not authorized under Montana's program to complete the required Physician Statement. The physician evaluates the patient's qualifying condition and, if appropriate, completes the Physician Statement. The patient then applies through Montana's TAP portal at tap.dor.mt.gov, submitting the Physician Statement, a Montana ID, a photo, and the state fee directly to DOR. A temporary registry card is printable immediately from TAP after submission. The permanent 1-year card is mailed upon DOR approval.
Montana medical marijuana cardholders enjoy two meaningful advantages over adult-use purchasers. First, medical patients purchase at a reduced 4% state tax rate — significantly lower than the adult-use excise tax. For Kalispell patients using cannabis regularly to manage a qualifying condition, this tax reduction represents real ongoing savings. Second, Montana permits medical cardholders to grow 4 mature plants and 4 seedlings at a private residence — double the 2 mature plants and 2 seedlings allowed for adult-use home cultivation. These are meaningful advantages that make Montana's medical card worth pursuing for qualifying patients.
